personally and assumed all responsibility for design and placed project

Structured Cabling Engineering and Installation
Project Dollar Amount: $268,640
Project Description
- GoldTech’s design and engineering services were contracted to install
an inside cable plant in the main headquarters building, comprised of
two million square feet. After the design and engineering processes were
completed, installation of the structured cabling plant took place using
required hardware and connectivity components.
- GoldTech subsequently tested
for accuracy and availability. BICSI standards were used for installation
of all inside cable plant. Our RCDD was responsible for all design and
engineering of each project prior to installation.
Project Outcomes
- GoldTech successfully installed thousands of cable runs and connectivity
to support the network infrastructure.
- GoldTech was responsible for several
successful project completions critical to the operations of Nationwide’s
information technology and telecom departments.
Project/Contract Name: The Ohio State University/UNITS
Project Dollar Amount: $260,000
Project Description
- GoldTech was responsible for the engineering and installation of structured
cabling solutions throughout The Ohio State University campus. GoldTech’s
primary role was to augment the staff of UNITS, a department within the
University responsible for all telecommunications for local and outreach
University campuses. GoldTech has engineered and installed solutions in
Wooster, Ohio as well as the main campus in Columbus, Ohio. All designs
and installations were completed according to BICSI and the University’s
standards.
Project Outcomes
- GoldTech successfully engineered and installed structured cabling solutions
for a variety of buildings and facilities located throughout the campus.
In addition, GoldTech completed installations for fraternity houses and
medical buildings, to name a few. The installation brought the buildings
up to state-of-the-art standards.
- All of the engineering and installations
met with the approval of the UNITS department personnel and all deliverables
were met with a high level of client satisfaction.
Project/Contract Name: Client Logic New Jersey Facility
Project Dollar Amount: $71,000
Project Description
For this project, GoldTech was contracted to design and install structured
cabling for a new facility.
Project Outcomes
- Client Logic was under enormous pressure with a short deadline to occupy
this facility. Delay of this project would have resulted in a loss of
their license and site inspection, which would have severely delayed their
move-in date.
- GoldTech worked productively to cable the building according
to standard and code. As such, the project was completed in a timely manner,
the move-in was successful, and there were no delays.
